McLaren chose Orange to design and deliver the first and only event of it’s kind in the world! A year in the planning team Orange was ready to roll out and deliver the largest road event McLaren had ever undertaken, anywhere in the world. However, mother nature had other plans. Last minute massive earthquake in Kaikoura demanded a reroute of the trip and the complete replanning of the entire schedule for the super wealthy and elite guests from around the world. There were planned events and surprises every day. The tour started with a stunning gala event for 370pax at Shed 10 in Auckland. Our international guests started their engines for their road trip from Auckland to Queenstown for the ‘Epic McLaren New Zealand Tour’. 33 McLaren supercars worth in excess of $40 million dollars drove country roads, an interisland ferry and the occasional racetrack in a tribute to the spiritual home of Bruce McLaren.
